"Deceit is not Jamaican for "the chair" :P

Injection time

I got a freaky surprise today when I went to get my injection. There was a young girl or should I say woman, who had some sort of freak allergy to antibiotics that was administered to her while she was in the next room.I was waiting for my injection and I sorta got a peek (sorry pulling out my camera and snapping up shots at this time is too paparazzi for me...:P) and I saw the whole pregnant woman kit, you know legs spread, and sheet over the front area, yeah...and so I thought she was pregnant and but I found out I was very wrong when I overheard the nurse say loudly "yes we need an ambulance, she had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics.....she needs to get that Gonorrhea treated right away." OOooopS there goes patient confidentiality :P I was shocked and scared coz it was like a scene from ER or Grey's Anatomy, GO GO GO! the ambulance made it in record time 8minutes, on a priority level of 1(at least thats what I overheard) She was so young and she was beautiful...I just breathed a sigh of relief and hoped that she'd be okay. I also started thinking of how this is probably happening with many more young teens who are screwing around. A google search gave me some insight on Neisseria gonorrhœae the pretty little lady's newfound bodily pest-the bacteria that causes the condition. It is soooo icky! so for guys reading this...if your nut sacks are swollen...you probably got the Gonz! :O See a doctor ASAP!

I don't have any reason to worry about having Gonorrhea but I did feel her regret...one night of fun and this is what she gets...at that very moment, all I could hear was my mothers advice.....I thank her so much for keeping me safe all this years.

Death to the pussy!

I found saw this dead cat on my way up the overhead pass at the train station....it freaked the hell out of me so much that I decided to take a closer look.

It was so eerie just lying there......with so much sadness in its dead eyes..yes, dead things can still portray feeling and personality....

This was probably his nineth life :( poor pussy cat! Gatita.....Cato?

Cats ya laters! :P

"to be-bo or not to bebo" :P

Bebo is a huge social networking site that is soooo popular that I have seen people at the netcafe that i work in....just sit there for hours staring or checking other peoples profiles.....I am honestly, not fascinated by this since I had an account and I deleted it. I don't consider myself to be an onliner....someone who lives his life online and forgets that you don't make real
1.money online, your bills are not paid with WoW gold silly! :P

2. friends online (this is always challenged by onliners...,you can't unless u meet them in real life)

3.love online, again....challenge me on this one :P

Well, I guess I shouldn't say much becoz my life is being posted online.lol. BUT,I guess we all get carried away sometimes :P anyhoo, I was convinced that I needed to get one, my friends have all been saying...get a bebo account and I have been holding off for so long....I will however, dispose of it when I get back home...but for now, I'm be-ing bo-ld :P I still don't know what that word means or stands for..lol.

here

And this is a pic of my old bebo page :P

"never believe anything until it has been officially denied"

I am writing this on a train, I went shopping for a good mobile wireless solution last week and I was shocked by the pricing...so shocked that I wanted to go home just to use the internet! nah,not really,I'm just exaggerating.I ended up paying NZ$430,and $59 per month with a data usage limit of 1GB, peanuts compared to our unlimited plans back home.Well, actually it costs $429.99 but they don't have 1 cent coins over here. Another shocking fact!!:O

I am just starting to learn a few things about life here....this is a pattern I have noticed:
On trains:
1.you always try to sit on the next empty sit leaving one space.

2.Avoid sitting next to anyone ( some people take this to the extreme and stand up all the way!!).....

3.Never look anyone in the eye longer than 3 seconds.....when look at them in the eye more than 3 secs they will turn away (following the rule)

4.Always act cold by rubbing your hands blowing into them or putting them in your pocket even though you are from New Zealand and it is normal for you to experience these temperatures.

5.Don't talk to anyone unless they talk to you first ( I break this rule all the time...lol)

6.sleep if you are sleepy.....

7.check other people out but don't make it obvious, find friends whenever possible and be as loud as you can when discussing things like your social life...your recent visit to the doctor or how crappy and insensitive your boyfriend is!

I also noticed that the ladies here have class....they have style that surpasses anything I have seen back home. They will wear perfectly color matched outfits or plains.....with very cool hoodies and shoes....just because it is cool to be cold :P

New Zealand women are generally well formed, with natural curves, however, a great number of them are overweight and this seems to be common among young people. Another thing is smoking is seriously a major problem here. You can really see an American influence in this country. The trends, the lifestyles.......it makes me happy that most of the people I know back home are not buying into this world craze.

"I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she left me before we met"

I haven't been writing coz I've been a little sick :( and busy....and my free time is so limited that I choose to go out and experience the outdoors....New Zealand is a beautiful place,I am not going to let all that beauty go to waste! :P I didn't think that many kiwis were interested in my blog but thanks for reminding me that there are people out there who actually read this stuff....this entry is dedicated to my special NZ reader B,thanks for being random...lol! aNYHoO I had an awesome funfilled week....here are some of the pics I didn't post coz I've been busy:)

A lovely day at the beach :)

After a great breakfast at uncle Macs place-with-the-burgers :P I went out to the beach to see what NZ has to offer......and this is what I found......

Okay, so they build stairs for you....coz they don't want you to tumble down the hill....NICE! :P
Yeah the sand is a wee bit darker....but it still gives you that "sand in your shoe" feeling!Well, true its not that glamorous.....and it doesn't look too romantic and "getaway-ish"........

especially when you compare it to this.......this is the ideal beach to go on that long romantic walks you've always dreamed of....mmmmm! BUT it still has beauty.....like everything else in this world :)

Back to school on the streets of AKL

I usually see this dog on my way to and from school......it is such a cute dog :) almost as cute as the owner :P She left her dog tied outside probably get give it a tan :P I just couldn't resist hassling the little shitsu (I believe thats what they call them) outa her/him.....I will have to get her name...the owner..not the dog...lol...what a cutie! the dog this time.....well....uhm...okay the owner too! grrrrrrrrrrrrr....woof woof!

My trip to school on this morning had a little more suspense and drama forced into it by this very intriguing lady on a wall:P ......I saw this advert...for a show, which I later stayed up to watch-kids don't watch this at home!....I thought the show was a little perverted and sick (but what isn't in todays entertainment industry) but I liked the concept of this ad. If you wait for the wind to blow...you can actually see up her skirt, this brings a realistic feeling of....hmmm...I'll wait until the wind blows just to see this ad.....and it really works, kept me up thursday nite to see what all the fuss was about! LOL...NICE ONE PRIMETV! hats off to yaz!

From ads of ladies with their skirts up to ladies that will pull their skirts up just so you can find out whats underneath :P I went to westfield to find a product (and ended up walking away with only chewing gum:) These lovely European ladies were on tour and I guess Westfield Mall(they're such commercialists!) decided to put on a free show to draw in the masses....and boy did it draw them in! I'm sorry, I can't help it....I'm just a sucker for hot, blonde, Euro-ladies who lift up their skirts for entertainment :P lol.....it was a great show though.....only coz they had undergarments....who knows...maybe it would have been better without undergarments? I found them to be very acrobatic.....talented. I'd love to travel to Europe...maybe next year.

okay...still a lot more pics to go.....but I gotta grab some breakfast.....hope u enjoy reading this one!
...I wonder what will happen next week???

"the good thing about being smart is that I know stuff"

I set up my new website...which is temporary for now....but I hope to get some hits and maybe a few donations.....so check it out :)

www.fijimade.com

I have completed my written asessment:) and it happened to be so good that I was asked by my lecturer to work on a paper for the GMR2008 conference but I haven't had much time to think about things like that...or even about getting myself some more new lady friends :P

I miss my old friends from home, I call them up once in a while....just to say hi :) I find myself missing home so much when I'm alone....but hey, this is my new life and I should enjoy it :)

I had fun on the train yesterday, ended up catching the wrong train...LOLZ.....I'm considering getting a new bebo account :O Yep, thats right...bebo! I never liked it but...all my friends are just demanding that I get a page......so *ahem* I think....I'll think about it some more....over a few drinks maybe :P

This is Mr. Smartypants....OUT!

"have you ever seen the train?"

I'm at the train station.....just thinking about a dream I had one morning.....a very freakishly familiar dream with someone I used to know very well....she was a true friend, she tried to be there for me....in every way but...yet she was never really there....I called her just as my dream ended and then......she said that she didn't want to be my friend anymore.....because some guy said she shouldn't be. I just feel that she is just making excuses.....if she doesn't wanna know me, she should just say so! Duh!......I can take the truth.....anyway, I remember my friend because she has taught me so much :) I consider myself to be quite successful with my goals here....I am top of my class and I have been asked to participate in a senior studenst project! ooooooh how exciting :P I was thinking about our times together....

I think that I have learned a lot from other people in my life....so I dedicate this entry to Mrs SCV :P Thank you for being YOU :)

gracias mucho grande, guapa amiga :P yeah uhm...my Spanish needs some work :P

"An evening with the IT industry in New Zealand"

I had to meet up with my friend M for business. I was delivering her order of tshirts and we planned to meet at the train station. I got wireless access from the station which was pretty easy...and reasonably cheap coz you pay for data usage and not time.Ten cents per MB. I had a chat with friends back home then I met M and we started talking about how cool the tees were :) THEY ARE COOL! THANKS ALLEN!!!
I am proud to sell these tees here and there has been growing interest from my classmates and friends. Anyway I met M and she said that she had to meet her cousin so, I met her cuz and then we all went on "the free bus" coolstuff! its a bus.....thats free :PAnyway,I saw all the beautiful cityscape and then I got to Auckland Uni...and it is just a marvel of design! I'm writing this from inside the student lounge...hehe,this place is awesome and their student lounge is cool. Students can just sit around and "discuss" stuff...lol. Yeah,uhm....as a student I was discussing how my mouse works with the girls.lol:)Today is a special event that is organized by the NZCS which will be held in Auckland University.
They had to leave but I'm still here finishing up some stuff...uhm....coz I'm a student here :P

"experience is the comb life gives you....after you're bald""

I haven't been writing coz i have been busy. I got a job at an internet cafe...managing the computer hardware there,I've had my work cut out,the old AMD Athlons running basic internet software and office programs are almost giving up, the owner doesn't want to change them but I am strongly recommending that he does so soon. I also drove my sisters car for the first time :) yipeee! No crashes and she said I was good, well actually she said "mediocre" yeah...knowing her.She said you can do it...it's just like in the game! haha....and you know what? it was! :)I am on the train, just blogging....coz it's very boring staring at other people.lol! not! I love looking at people here...they're so diverse in their looks....some of them unique...some of them are also just drop dead gorgeous. I notice that I'm losing my Fiji way of speaking really quick. I don't like it so I plan to talk to my friends back home more often....but of course,I'm not making as much money here :( so I may have to look at other means of being "self sufficient"I haven't moved into the city yet but...I don't plan to stay here for very long either.I am trying to find my balance here and trying to be like a "roman in rome"There are times when I just feel so sad coz I miss home so much. Tiny and seemingly insignificant things can set off a bad case of "homesickness" but I just keep myself occupied and try to keep my girlfriends off my mind.I miss my best bud too, and at this time he is going through a lot and I worry about him but he is such a person that has so much confidence and such faith that I know he will be able to get through anything!Although I still wish I could be there for him,I know that being here and doing working and studying hard is what I came to do and he wouldn't never want me to leave my pursuits for him, neither do I want him to do the same for me.I also met an old friend.....it was almost by unreal how we found each other! It could be fate....but I don't believe in all that crap. We choose our own fate......my life has been a series of choices, and "the tribe has spoken" LOL! I love the new survivor series...it was tons of fun watching. I also watched other programs that weren't available back home. Heroes is on here but old season....CSI:LV and CSI:NY are on as well apart from that I enjoyed watching Paris and Nicole do their realty stuff,so funny!Being here has helped me to think beyond my space,my island, my world! :)I also liked taking pictures here....but I love the cars more than anything else. I was happy with the food too.I had KFC last nite but my sister took me around to some of the best fast food joints around.SUBWAY, WENDY'S, and of course, my favorite "Mc Dees" :)

I have also seen many opportunities for business here. I would really like to setup a company here but I have to wait until I can get residence before I do that,if,I find a good reason to stay.I miss my customers so much and yeah, they miss me too...not just their computers! lol
I called home yesterday, spoke to my mom....I worry about her coz...she seems a little upset and there was a lot of sadness in her voice:(

Today I have class for 1 full day. It seems that I will be joining the February intake. This means I will graduate in November :D so that also means, more time to hang around New Zealand and see the wonders :)My visa expires at the end of March 2009,this gives me time to get a job and apply for a work permit IF I decide to stay on, otherwise its back to my beautiful island home again....to do business as usual!:DI called one of my customers yesterday regarding the database I have been working on. She said I look well,hehe...and yeah I feel great too!:)
I am looking forward to move into the city next month but the only problem is my job is down south in a place called Papatoe....or "indianville" as some would say..I met so many Indo-Fijians living around this area.Anyway,I am not making as much money as I make back home :( I don't like it coz....I work long hours for less.

Grammarian T-shirts for sale

FJD $20 or NZD$20 for those in New Zealand.

"gold at the rainbow's end"

I went to Rainbows End yesterday....it is a funpark not far from where I'm staying. My sister offered to take me there last week but I thought it was for kids so I passed. This week I was bored coz it was ANZAC day, a public holiday over here so I figured...why not?? I went down there and got a pass. Cool thing is you can take any of the rides for the whole day :) Man....did I feel like a kidd :P

Awesome rides and i got to drive a go-kart for the first time...hehehehe! vrrrrrrrm vrrrrrm! :D

I also met a German exchange student named Ineke (which is actually pronounced "Ineka" or "
in a car" :P well,at least thats how I heard it...LOL! I took my sisters boyfriend's two brothers. I was more of a kid than they were..lol! Again with the beautiful ladies....I was just so amazed...walking around admiring such beauty is actually very tiring! and I'm not just talking about the people...the trees and parkland is amazing too!:) I went on the bumper cars and the "The Fear Fall" which wasn't very scary so...maybe the should have called it "the FALL" You get to see the nearby towns up there! I met a guy from West Virginia and a guy from Lautoka in Fiji..small world!

"All in good time"

I'm learning so much in school and also about this beautiful country :) I met two really lovely ladies that run a hostel closer to my school and I'm hoping to move there next month. Although some well meaning friends have advised me against moving because of the "party nature" and openness of the kiwis :P I was afraid of that! but I have more pressing reasons to move there. I will get access to the internet and also more privacy since I will be living alone, but I will have to be more responsible and will have to put my managment skills to good use! I will also save approximately 1hour and 15 minutes of travel time also expenses will be much less but I guess it will be evened out by the cost of food here, which is more expensive because it is closer to the city centre. I will also miss "train girl" :(

I have thought about this and I will decide next month when I am in a better financial position to make such a decision :P

I got an email from http://www.verveearth.com/ and apparently my blog has made some noise with the people at verveearth :) "We are searching the internet for the world's best blogs by geography, and we found yours for Fiji" Yipeee :) thanks Clayton and I am only too happy to be a beta user!

Anyway here are my photographic updates :P

A beautiful New Zealand morning.....for me at least :P

Something warm to start your day with :P my sis has been very liberal with my Midori...grrrr!

See what I mean about the cars???
I am enjoying my time and I won't let missing home stop me from experiencing New Zealand at its best! :)

"I take it back"

I would like to eat my words....today just walking through Auckland City centre.....I had never seen such beautiful people :) It is amazing, how multi-ethnicity brings about the most unique and intriguing mixture of looks that make the women and of cos the men-does this make me gay??..don't answer that:P

I believe that I only said that the cars were more beautiful coz....I never really noticed the women...I didn't really want to anyway, after all the problems that I have come to associate with relationships, still fresh in my mind :P

I love this place...I got to hear very different accents and I met this really nice girl on the train...I shall call her "train girl" :P She isn't much of a talker but...hey shes company! :) sure beats the hell out of sitting aimlessly in a train for 1:15 mins! :O

"The cars are more beautiful than the women :P"

Uhm....going home in their new car!...lol
A Porshe in the parking lot.....really hot stuff :) Nothing like the Toyota's back home :P It is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen in my life!
