"More than words- The Love Guru Review!"

I was pretty busy last week, went to watch "The Love Guru" not really my kinda humor, this movie was so full of sexual implications that it was hard not to think about sex the whole movie....it was more about sex than about Love...but I loved the music! I thought it was a beautiful blend of western and Indian culture and humor, even if it seemed racist to some,I don't think about it that way,it highlights the typical Indian ways...I really loved the musical bits, it was awesome :)

heres a taste of it :)

Saying "I love you"
Ish not da verds I vant to hear from you
It's not that I vant you
Not to say it but if you only knooh
How easay!
It vould be to show me how you feel (tap tap)
More dan verrds
Is all you hav to do to make it real
den you vouldn't have to saay
dat You love me
Cause I'd already knoh!
La di da de di da di dai dai dai
More dan verds!
Da de di dum di do di di dai diyup beauty da!
More dan verds!

I also loved Jessica Alba in the movie...she was so hot and was probably the sweetest person in the movie.Justin Timberlake was totally disgusting! What a creep!lol...maybe he is like that in real life..who knows?

I also went out and painted the town red and black with my friends :)I went to a bar and only just met this girl and she gave me her number out of nowhere! I was totally caught off guard....but I was happy to take it down ;)
My friend said he was trying to get her number before that...but he was dancing with her friend when I got there...anyway,I thought she was interesting, sitting all beautiful in her corners staring at people...I still don't know what made her give me her number...but I think it had something to do with her having to leave early...

My friends are calling me a stud but I think I'm more of a dud than a stud...but maybe things are changing for me :) I still would prefer to be single for a lot longer...if i can hold it:P

"I've seen the future I can't afford it,especially the fuel"

with fuel prices climbing...its a wonder how some people just don't care, like me...and yes, perhaps broomsticks would be the next transportation device....I've been going to the movies....the old fashioned way, walking! which isn't too bad,I mean, you get to work out, explore and smell the roses..or the Auckland sewerage system, depending where you live...I got a comment on this post BEFORE it was actually finished. Thanks Shiva....I'm sure witches around the world are working on a marketing strategies to sell mass produced flying brooms!

I had an interesting run-in with M last night.I also had an interesting run-in with someone who didn't like a post in my blog. here is a hint: she is the same person that didn't like the flowers I sent her (what girl doesn't like flowers?) weird, coz I didn't think it was seriously a problem.Well, to everyone who doesn't like my blog...here's a suggestion : DON'T READ THIS!Simple :)

Yeah, sometimes there are very simple solutions to the most complex problems....as to the problem with fuel....there is no simple solution and as much as I like the idea of traveling to the movies on a pimped out 4 way sweeping action broom....I don't think it would be possible in the real world where the laws of physics apply (sorry to all you harry potter fans..I hate to break your broomsticks :P)

Well I don't need broomsticks to fly and here are the pics to prove it!
Up up and..................................................................................
.............Away!!!! I'll fly away just like this, no broomsticks required!! :)

"I'm clinging to sanity by a thread, hand me the scissors will ya!"

A Special Day

Today, I pay tribute to someone who had a special place in my life once.....she comments on my page...the silly gal...now its useless in not naming her.....

Silvie Catherine Van der Zee...on this day uhm..some time ago you made my life more interesting :) not that it wasn't before then...but it was definitely "spesh";)

Some would call it love..others would call it crazy but,I would class it as "temporary insanity" lol...but then again,I would class alot of things as that:P I actually once thought that you can fall in love with some partly intangible person on a computer screen that lived almost a world apart! Oh,I have really grown up these days! haha...my parents would be proud (and yes they are :) I still learned so much about life and a little about love and a bit more about myself than I would have liked.

I was thinking of writing a "10 things I hate about you list" but....I am not a hater...I'm a lover, not a fighter :P and I also walked away from my previous experience with this type of relationship with a few valuable lessons:

1:Even if you spend your entire life planning.....nothing will ever go EXACTLY according to your plan...NO PLAN IS PERFECT,you will always have problems.

2:being totally honest with someone in a relationship doesn't mean they will be the same way with you.(unfortunately I learned this one a little late :P)

3:if you love someone, you will get hurt-becoz only people we let into our heart have the ability to cause so much pain. (this doesn't mean we don't let them in)

4:there is no perfect girl/woman/wife...there are only alot of potentials :P (I have a thing for spotting imperfections....rather than looking at the perfect quality of love)

5:Jealousy may breed silently until it comes out and destroys your relationship.

6:Never judge a person by what they have done in the past....although previous mistakes are sometimes an indication of how someone will react to a situation, this is not always the case,I believe in the romantic idea that,YES, people can change...I am the product of 24 years of constant change! :)

7:Spell irressistable correctly :)

8:Save some money for your future....just in case you decide to have a future and share one with the love of your life! (I'm getting really close to finding her...I just know it!!)

9:Laugh as hard as you can.....cry as softly as you can ( coz you don't want anyone to think you're a sissy:P)

10:Be thankful...even if nothing goes according to your plans...at least you gave it your best shot...you tried and thats what matters the most!!

Well,I'm glad I went through such an ordeal....it helps me to grow as a person....I love mistakes...we can never learn how to do anything right if we never do anything wrong (hmm...yes that sounds funny but I'm sure its right :P if I am wrong...SUE ME!! and maybe SUE WILSON TOO!! lol.....I hope everyone finds this interesting....I will leave with a few more pics of my last event and some other pics.

Auckland Club...review NO STARS :(

TPN Forum

This event was hosted by the NZCS and was held at The Auckland Club a rather classy place...with nice paintings on the wall. The served red wine and Chardonnay along with Heinees! I really liked the speaker Sarah Rees (yep I make you famous missy! :)she was awesome....she gave some valuable insight to my software development assignment....it was very cool how she would pause in the middle of her presentation and blame her cold for not remembering her outline (I THINK THE IDEA IS JUST BRILLIANT SARAH ;) I may not have mastered the art of test team management but i think I will be able to master the art of getting away with not remembering your outline...thanks for the tip! lol....haha she is funny too...I'd definitely enjoy working with someone like her...anyway, ahem...yeah, the pics :

The famous ship that came to New Zealand....it so famous that I can't recall its name :P

Hey this woman looks really familiar!!! wasn't she the Queen of England once?? Wasn't she on American Idol??

The rich old foggies that used to run this place have their cartoons painted...cool beans!

I was tempted to play on this piano!! SOOOOO tempted...its a good think I wasn't feeling too crazy! :P

The seminar was held..uhm in that room....I just followed the sound of the wine glasses to find it!

"Southern smiles :) whats your final fantasy?"

Whats your Final Fantasy?? Wow! this was so hot....perfection comes in a tiny package :P Ahem...enough dreaming...back to my real life!

I'm back in the South for another fun filled weekend :) I left early this morning, leaving my friends clueless as to my whereabouts....I was such a loner today..lol! I kept to myself and was as much of a snob as I could act....I think it is starting to stick :P I mean,my new friends are saying I should lighten up and just find a girlfriend and enjoy myself....but,I still don't feel like I am ready, anyway, Although I found the warm smiles of South Auckland girls very inviting :) I believe that this will come naturally, she will come naturally :P It really made my day today, you are so right K smiling at strangers is such a great way to spread positive energy!!! hehe......I'm going places tomorrow, there is so much of New Zealand to explore and I am a little sad about idealic conditions that I have left unexplored in my paradise home FIJI! I made 2 new friends in my lodge, a very "lank" wacky South African guy I like to call Pat :) and a celebrity from Fiji...a popular radio anouncer on our hindi stations....she is hilarious and very adventurous....wants to take me and a couple of friends from school to a nightspot.lol...of cos....everything in its own time! I am settling in quite well and I am starting to gain some confidence.....in my abilities (no I don't have superpowers-although sometimes I wish I did...:P) I now believe that the seminar

I will be implementing a new secret area for my blog that will be hosted externally (on a different host from blogspot.1.google.com) and only subscribers/regular readers will have access to these "secret areas" this will be part of my
NZQA unit 6750.I have never had much interest in software engineering but this stuff is really tickling my fancy these days.I think I can be good at it...but I need time to develop my skills, and time is not something I have much of at the moment. I have a life outside of my studies and my spiritual development is also something that requires time and absolutely cannot be ignored.I am happy being single and I think I can enjoy not having someone adore me for a while......as for my love life..well,I don't particularly feel the need to be with someone at the moment(this is so strange for me!) I am usually a needy person,I think we all are at some level, but I do feel the need to connect with old acquaintences. I want to meet this girl I went to high school with, she went out with my friend and I had a thing for her friend...it was very strange back then...hahaha....well then, I best be off. If my eyes are to stay warm and friendly they have to close!

I leave with my highlights of the seminar and other pics:
Telecom NZ presentation, they have a major recruitment drive mostly for "gen-i" the infotech part of telecom.Great presentation!
The world is a pretty place from the top :)

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhushi! best eaten quietly :P
Gang signs are so in!!! :P uhhm....this is the "coconut crew" lol!I had heaps of fun...thanks people!
I reckon this guy is so cool!! when I first saw him, I thought he was a mime, but he never moved, so I thought maybe he is a statue...so if he is...he is doing a pretty good job...then I go over and put a dollar in his suitcase, then he moves smiles and gives me the "thumbs up" WOW! he is talented at standing still!!I can hear him singing "we shall not be moved" in his head :P
Goodnite! Sweet Dreams!

Sylvia Park!!

WARNING POSSIBLE "HANCOCK" SPOILER!

I had a wonderful time.....I went to Sylvia Park with some newfound friends :) This girl "L" was really cheeky but....we had a great laugh all the way to the movies.....I'm still trying to shake off the giggles coz she is so funny. She dropped me off at my place.....I went to watch "Hancock" what a crazy movie....not your average superhero.... "L" was upset with me coz I wanted to watch Hancock as opposed to the movie the girls wanted to watch which was...."Kung Fu Panda" lol.....sorry,I would choose drunk superhero over kickboxing panda any day :P

Sylvia Park is beautiful...it is something like an entertainment/shopping hub....that is between North and South Auckland....It was beautiful.....I've never seen such wonderful structural design implemented so intricately in a such a large space. It was my first time to the movies over here and I left my camera in L's car :(

I used to go by Sylvia Park alot when I was living down South but now I get to actually see it and it is great to be able to relax with some people that I like to call friends :) Yay!! I made some friends....WooHOoO!

Well the movie was...cool and I liked the superhero chic.....Charlize Theron....my blonde weakness :P I wanna have a superhero wife that looks like CT :P Nothing in the movie was conventional....but I did enjoy the black guy and white girl twist, I know it is called interacial but I am worried that by writing that word,it will ring many bells for those porn searching people and drive them to my blog...woops,too late! Yeah, well I don't mean it that way, I just think that the movies are becoming more international now, the Indian guy being robbed was a laugh as well, but I am part Indian and I don't take offense to it...coz I know that most indians actually do work in a store or own one, so it wasn't really a racist thing. I like the movie coz it shows alot about human behavior.....sorry if I spoiled the movie for you....you may have missed the warning up there...anyhoo,I have an assignment due...got my first day back in school tomorrow...and I'm looking forward to it now...since it is just a short walk away...hehehe :)

1000 views....yay! :P

1000 VIEWS
Its probably just accidental clickers but....I never expected 1000 views.....well,goes to show just how careless most people are with their mouse....lol!

hmmm...mostly American readers??? Hi'ya'll ;) .....perhaps they find the life of a Fiji born guy who has moved to New Zealand rather fascinating....well to all the Americans reading this....Happy Independence day (highlight between the coloured words to see your flag colours :) Thanks for reading....yes I write this today...but it is yesterday there! So technically the 4th of July....freaky huh?

Well I write this but I am not surprised, I don't use local expressions much and if I did, I explain them...most times....there are better local(by local I mean my home country local:) blogs out here with real LOCAL LINGO like "ga" "sa" and all those other fijinglish words....like Gonz :P check this blog for more Fiji flavour! http://failedparadise.blogspot.com/

Well for the intentional clickers/my wonderful readers, because you are all so special:) I will be having special features just for you all!

I just moved into my place in da city and it is sooooo quiet and lonely. I got so bored that I went out and explored a bit......and these are some things I found :)

Olympic training starts early for this dude....he has held that stance a little too long.....hmmm.....kinda looks like he is constipated...Need some help man?? :P

the Sky Tower...world famous for its pointy thing at the top!

Well,my first night in this place was quiet....but my morning was amazing! The hottie that looks after the lodge is very intriguing, however, I believe she is married or something,or so someone said. She had her jacket caught in the door when she came into my room :P

My refridgerator wasn't working so.....ahem, I decided to make a suggestion(not a complaint-she is waaaay to nice to complain to :P ) She let me in on a secret....that no other tenants know :D hehehehehe..its quite a nasty little secret that MAY send everyone(other tenants) screaming in a panic if they found out...although for me, it wasn't big news...coz I really didn't care...I just wanted my fridge to work :P

She came back and knocked so hard I got such a fright......then she gave me the good news....I would get a new fridge :D WOOOOHOOO! Shes the best ;)

Now I have my new fridge..I can now buy my OJ......not the black dude....the juice :P

Okay.......that'll be all for tonite.Nitey nite people :)
